Julian O'Brien is an experienced media and communications professional with a diverse background in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Hoops Capital media and communications consultant and Director of Communications and Media for Sydney Kings and Brydens Sydney Uni Flames, respectively, Julian also holds the position of Communications and Public Relations Manager at Sicona Battery Technologies and serves as Chief Executive Officer of South Break Media. Previously, Julian was the Editor of Illawarra Mercury, one of Australia’s prominent regional newspapers, and held multiple editorial and management positions at The Advocate Newspaper in Tasmania, culminating in a tenure as Editor.
