Evgeniy Lipatov has over 11 years of work experience in various roles. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Programmer at Ikeen Group. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Network Administrator at American University in Central Asia. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Senior System Administrator and IT Specialist at Foris Telecom KG. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as a Lead Unix System Engineer, Senior Unix System Engineer, and Unix System Engineer at MegaCom (ZAO "Al'fa Telecom"). Finally, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at First Line Software. While at First Line Software, they were responsible for administration servers with Linux, administration DB servers (postgresql), writing of helm Charts, and deploying them to k8s. At MegaCom (ZAO "Al'fa Telecom"), they were responsible for administration of servers running Unix systems, maintenance of HPE server hardware, development of security policies for internal firewalls on Linux servers, automation of routine tasks by server administration and configuration (ansible), installing and configuring software for creating a Postgres database failover cluster (Patroni), installing, configuring and administering kubernetes clusters, building CI/CD for company projects (Gitlab-CI), setting up logging stacks (EFK, ELK) and monitoring (Prometheus, alertmanager, grafana), virtual environment administration (Vmware Vsphere), and division management (3 engineers).

Evgeniy Lipatov obtained an Engineer's degree in Information Technologies from Kyrgyzskij Tehničeskij Universitet im. I. Razzakova between 2004 and 2009. In 2014, they obtained a CCNA CSCO12642989 certification from Pearson VUE. In December 2022, they obtained a CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation.
