Dawie Jacobs has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Manager Regional Services at Sibanye-Stillwater since October 2011, and previously held the position of Unit Manager Finance. Prior to this role, Dawie Jacobs worked at Gold Fields from February 2003 to September 2011, advancing from Superintendent Financial Reporting to Supervisor Financial Reporting. Earlier in Dawie Jacobs' career, experience as a Creditor Clerk was gained at Gold Fields from 1999 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Mining Tax from the University of South Africa and a National Diploma in Internal Audit from the Central University of Technology, Free State. Dawie Jacobs also holds a Senior Certificate from Sand Du Plessis High School.
