Ashley Chancellor is an experienced environmental and metallurgical engineer with a strong background in sustainability and process improvement within the mining industry. Currently serving as the Environmental Manager at Sibanye-Stillwater since July 2019, Ashley oversees compliance with environmental obligations, guides site leadership, and manages water treatment systems. Previously held roles include Environmental Systems Engineer, where Ashley led teams to achieve ISO 14001:2015 certification, and Senior Metallurgical Engineer, focusing on metallurgical accounting and process support at a base metal refinery. Prior to Sibanye-Stillwater, Ashley worked at Newmont Goldcorp Corporation from July 2008 to May 2019, progressing from Project Engineer to Senior Metallurgist, and gaining expertise in project management, business planning, and operational efficiencies. Ashley obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2008.
