Troy Waterman is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and process improvement. Currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at The Shyft Group since October 2023, Troy has previously held roles including Manufacturing Process Engineer at Hutchinson, where efforts focused on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through engineering practices, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methodologies. Additional experience includes a contract position as a Manufacturing Engineer at Manitou Pontoon Boats - BRP, a Manufacturing Engineer role in New Product Development at Attwood Corporation, and a Shipping Supervisor position at Roskams Bakery Company. Troy also worked as a Manufacturing Manager at Ventra Ionia Main, LLC. Educational qualifications include an Associate's degree in Engineering from Grand Rapids Community College, completed between 1984 and 1986.
