John Allison has extensive experience in database engineering and systems administration, currently serving as a Sr. Principal Database Engineer at Shutterfly, Inc. since March 2017. As the Owner/Operator of GuenTech since April 1996, John provides hosting services for 24 domains. Previous roles include Client/Server Programmer IV at Intel Corporation, Senior Database Administrator at SolarCity, and Senior Production Systems Administrator at PeopleFinders, where John oversaw systems handling over 250 million hits daily. Education includes multiple associate's degrees from Solano Community College and an MCSA certification in SQL Server from Global Knowledge.
