Stephen Brabandt is a Corporate Special Projects Engineer at Shurtape Technologies, LLC, since February 2022. Prior to this role, Brabandt served as Director of Engineering and later Program Director at HSM from February 2013 to February 2022, managing regional engineering teams and overseeing new product development and process improvements. Brabandt also held the position of Project Manager at Great Lakes Hotel Supply Company, managing projects for commercial kitchens. Earlier experience includes working as Estimator/Project Manager and Design Engineer at Kloppenberg & Co., Product Engineer at BlueBird Turf Products, and Product Engineer at Kimball International. Brabandt holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA in Innovation and Change Management from Lenoir-Rhyne University, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate from Purdue University.
