Matt Caporali started their work experience in 2003 as a Systems Development Co-op at US Steel. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer at Inmedius. In 2006, they joined Access Data as a Software Engineer until 2009. Matt then worked at Chorus Call as a Senior Software Engineer from 2009 to 2014. Since 2014, they have been working at Shoulder 2 Shoulder, Inc as a Senior Software Engineer.

Matt Caporali earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Duquesne University, attending from 2001 to 2005. Matt then pursued a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Drexel University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Matt has also obtained certifications in relevant fields. Matt became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate through Amazon Web Services in August 2016, and later became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance in November 2017.
