Mélanie Duclos has been working in the field of art restoration since 2011. Mélanie started at Atelier Conservart, where they were responsible for the restoration of paintings, frames and gilded objects. In 2012, they joined ATELIER DE RICOU, where they worked on the restoration of decorations at the Hôtel de Guines in Courbevoie. Later that year, they joined Atelier de Drouot to restore paintings. In 2013, they worked on the restoration of a Venetian painted ceiling at Atelier Gohard. In 2016, they joined Atelier Bonfini-Duclos, where they were responsible for the restoration of paintings, both old and modern, of all types of formats for both private and professional clients. Mélanie also worked on the conservation of frames. At the same time, they started working at Loewe as an office manager/general services assistant. In 2018, they joined Les Meubles de Gabriel, where they were responsible for furniture transformation. Currently, Mélanie is working as an office manager at Shotgun!.
Mélanie Duclos attended École de Condé from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Conservation/Restauration d'oeuvres d'art with a specialization in painting. In 2013, they earned a European Master of Fine Arts specialized in painting restoration from E.A.B.H.E.S (European Accreditation Board of Higher Education Schools).
