Simon Desjardins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in executive search, energy access, and business development across various sectors. As Co-Founder and Partner at Shortlist Professionals since March 2016, Desjardins has spearheaded efforts to integrate technology and human insights in hiring, impacting over 900 companies and 1.5 million professionals globally. Previously, as Co-Founder and Portfolio Director at Shell Foundation, Desjardins co-created the ResponsAbility Energy Access Fund and led a significant funding partnership with DFID to enhance energy access initiatives in Africa and Asia. Desjardins’ earlier roles include Business Analyst at Shell, Sales Director at High Street Media, and Volunteer Consultant for the United Nations, showcasing a diverse skill set in finance, market analysis, and community development.
