Sergiu Iacob worked as a Software Engineer at Shoreline from July 2020 until the present. Sergiu was responsible for increasing application availability and automating issue remediation across a fleet of machines.

Prior to that, Sergiu worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Excellency Center for Youth Capable of Performance (CEX) from September 2017 to December 2019. In this role, they taught computer science lessons and solved algorithmic problems with high school students preparing for contests and olympiads.

Sergiu also gained experience as a Machine Learning Intern at Strongbytes from August 2019 to October 2019. During this time, they developed a fully functional web application for data analysis and prediction. Sergiu was involved in problem assessment, data collection and processing, and building prediction models using techniques such as Decision Trees and Naive Bayes.

Sergiu Iacob has a strong educational background in computer science and mathematics. Sergiu attended Colegiul Național "Emil Racoviță" Iași from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Graduation Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Universitatea "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, they briefly expanded their knowledge by studying at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, obtaining another Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Currently, from 2020 onwards, Sergiu is furthering their education at Universitatea "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași by pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science.
