Ahmed SAMI MOHAMED ELMORSY has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Ahmed started their career at ICUC in 2014, where they worked as a Front End Engineer on the user interface of Social Patrol, an internal platform for viewing, moderating, and engaging with social media posts. Ahmed was responsible for bug fixes, implementing new features, and migrating the application to AngularJS and Bootstrap.
In 2015, Ahmed took on the role of a Full Stack Engineer at ICUC Central, where they worked on both the front-end and back-end of the platform. Ahmed fixed bugs, implemented new features, and built the machine learning dashboard for training and viewing model statistics.
From 2017 to 2021, Ahmed transitioned to the role of a Python Engineer at ICUC. Ahmed worked on ICUC Central's machine learning component, conducting studies on social media data, performing data analysis and pre-processing, and training machine learning models.
In 2020, Ahmed joined Hackyourcloset.com as a Front End Engineer. Ahmed maintained and built new features for the company's inventory software, which is a subscription service focused on reducing waste in the clothing industry by sharing rescued and unsold items.
Most recently, in 2022, Ahmed started working as a Front End Engineer at Shoreline Wind. Ahmed is involved in developing their cloud platform for wind farm management, using RiotJS and jQuery for the front-end.
Through their various roles, Ahmed has gained expertise in front-end engineering, machine learning, and software development.
Ahmed Sami Mohamed Elmorsy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Computer and Information Technology For Aviation and Aerospace, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2015, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at IMT Atlantique, but did not complete the program.
In addition to their formal education, Ahmed has obtained several certifications. Ahmed completed the "Creative Advanced CSS Animations - Create 100 Projects!" certification from Udemy in April 2023, the "Creative CSS Drawing Course: Make Art With CSS" certification in December 2022, and the "Microfrontends with React: A Complete Developer's Guide" certification in November 2022. Furthermore, they also achieved the "Complete Guide to TensorFlow for Deep Learning with Python" certification from Udemy in December 2018.
