Marta Diez Cunado, Ph.D. began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Biokit in 2004. Marta then pursued their Ph.D. at the University of Barcelona from 2005 to 2010. Marta continued their research career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine and later at the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute. Marta joined Scripps Research in 2019 as an Alliance Manager, managing strategic partnerships in drug discovery. Marta currently works at Shoreline Biosciences, Inc. as the Senior Manager and later as the Associate Director of Alliance and Project Management.

Marta Diez Cunado, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2005. Marta went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedicine from Universitat de Barcelona in 2010. In 2017, they received a Clinical Trials Design & Management Certificate from UC San Diego in the field of Clinical Research.
