Marina Christopher is a multifaceted musician and educator with extensive experience in various roles within the music industry and education sector. Currently serving as a Screener at Seattle Children's and an Affiliate Music Streamer on Twitch, Marina has also been a Combo Coach at Jazz Night School and a Band Director at Seattle JazzED since 2016. With professional performance credits that include collaborations with notable artists such as Wynton Marsalis and Randy Brecker, Marina's musical journey spans over 15 years as a bassist, educator, arranger, and composer. Additionally, Marina has contributed as a Summer Jazz Camp Coach for the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council since 2008 and held various project management and childcare roles from 2013 to 2020. Marina holds a Bachelor of Music in Double Bass Performance from Central Washington University, earned in 2011.
