Yesenia Chavez has a diverse work experience starting in 2013. Yesenia worked as a Yoga Instructor at CorePower Yoga from April 2013 to September 2016. Yesenia then joined Hot 8 Yoga as a Yoga Instructor from January 2015 to September 2016. In December 2020, they joined Arketa as a Partner Success, where they empowered fitness trainers and instructors to build an online business. Yesenia ended their role at Arketa in November 2021. From December 2021 to February 2023, they worked as a Customer Success Manager - Retention at Shopmonkey. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Customer Success Manager at Shopmonkey. Yesenia is also the Founder of YOGAandTECH since April 2013.

Yesenia Chavez completed a Master's degree in Communication and Leadership at the Gonzaga University School of Leadership Studies from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International and Intercultural Communication from California State University-Sacramento in 2011. In 2009 to 2010, they attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature. Additionally, Yesenia participated in the Heart of Yoga Program at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in an unspecified year, completing the program.
