Christopher Brown is an experienced professional specializing in electrical systems and operations. Currently serving as a NERC System Operator (Dispatcher) at Sho-Me Power Electric Cooperative since March 2008, Christopher is responsible for monitoring and operating the electrical grid that supports nine distribution cooperatives and various municipalities. Prior roles include Data Architect, where management of SCADA software was essential for the non-BES part of Sho-Me’s electrical system, and multiple technician positions focusing on installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical controls and industrial equipment at 3M. Christopher holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Industrial Electricity from State Technical College of Missouri and a High School Diploma from Logan-Rogersville High School.
