Urs Schumacher is an experienced mechanical engineer and project manager with a strong background in product development and cross-functional project management, particularly within the medical technologies and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as Release Lead at SHL Medical since August 2023, Urs has previously held key roles such as Head Integration & Automation at Luzerner Kantonsspital and Project Manager at Varian Medical Systems, Tecan, and Schneeberger AG. Urs possesses a proven track record in interface development, risk management, and collaboration with diverse teams on international projects. Education includes a degree in Leichtbautechnik and Energietechnik from ZHW, a CAS in Project Management from SGO, and studies at ETH Zürich.
