Martin Turvill has extensive work experience in the medical and manufacturing industries. Martin is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at SHL Medical since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director at SHL Medical from November 2018 to November 2021. Before joining SHL Medical, Martin worked as the Director of Process Development at SHL Medical from September 2016 to November 2018.

Prior to their tenure at SHL Medical, Martin worked at BD Medical Pharmaceutical Systems, where they held the role of Operations Engineering Manager from June 2014 to August 2016. Martin also served as the Manufacturing Process Leader at BD Medical Pharmaceutical Systems from June 2009 to June 2014. In this role, they were responsible for leading and mentoring a team of engineers and implementing continuous improvement techniques to ensure high product quality, yield, and cost reduction.

Martin's career began at BD Medical, where they worked as a Senior Engineer from 1999 to 2009. Their responsibilities included managing injection molding projects and collaborating with other departments such as design and quality.

Prior to their time at BD Medical, Martin worked as the Moulding Manager at Manrose Manufacturing from 1996 to 1999. Martin also served as a Process Engineer at Automold from 1994 to 1996.

Martin Turvill obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Management from Oxford Brookes University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Trowbridge College from 1992 to 1995, earning a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Polymer Science. In addition to their formal education, Martin also obtained certifications in Master Molder I and II from RJG in May 2013.
