Ranjit Kumar currently serves as a Senior Scientist at Shiv Nadar University since July 2022. Previously, Ranjit Kumar was an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies from November 2020 to July 2022 and held the position of Assistant Professor at Amity University, Gautam Budh Nagar, from December 2010 to November 2020. Ranjit Kumar began an academic career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from October 2008 to August 2010. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut obtained from 2001 to 2008, an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry from Delhi University, as well as earlier education at Patna Science College and SGD Patliputra High School.
