Deepa Hazrati currently holds various roles related to sustainability initiatives and academic coordination at Shiv Nadar University, with a focus on water science and policy. Deepa also works as a freelance researcher on environmental development projects with Networked Intelligence for Development. Deepa has previous experience as a Fulbright Scholar and a Grassroots Coordinator at Sierra Club Ontario. Deepa holds a Master of Philosophy in Science Policy, a Masters in Environment Management, and a Master's degree in Sustainable Development.
