Karthik Bala is an experienced technology leader currently building Shipsy since November 2023. Prior to that, Karthik founded and served as CTO at Stockone from March 2017 to October 2023, a company focused on simplifying warehouse management for small and medium-sized businesses globally. Karthik's entrepreneurial journey began with the establishment of Headrun, where Karthik served as Founder and CEO from April 2009 to February 2017, specializing in cloud applications and scalable systems. Earlier experience includes a role as Software Engineer at Nucleus Software Exports Limited and as a Programmer at the National Informatics Centre, where Karthik contributed to national e-governance projects. Karthik also has a background in academia as an Assistant Professor at Bapatla Engineering College. Karthik holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from SRM IST Chennai.
