David Petersen's work experience includes founding and working as a lead product engineer at Shipmondo since July 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a software engineer at Novitas A/S from March 2013 to February 2014 and continued to work there until the present in a similar role. Before joining Novitas A/S, David worked as a software engineer at Hedal Kruse Brohus A/S from January 2009 to March 2013, where they focused on developing apps, web-apps, and advanced webshops for Android and iOS. David also had an engineering internship at Hedal Kruse Brohus A/S from February 2008 to August 2008.

David Petersen attended HTX Haderslev from 2000 to 2003. After completing their studies there, they went on to Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they pursued a degree in Software Engineering from 2005 to 2009.
