Ashley Wayman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ashley founded Shimmy in 2020 and holds the position of Founder. Prior to that, they worked at EF Education First from 2017 to 2020, serving as Vice President, Strategy & Operations. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Wayfair, first as Associate Director, Daily Sales & Promotions, and later as Director, Head of Integrated Promotions. Before that, they served as Director, Mobile Marketing & Strategy at Rue La La from 2011 to 2013. Ashley also has experience at Rent The Runway, where they held the roles of Director of Operations and Senior Manager, Operations in 2010. Ashley'searly career includes working as an Analyst and Trader at Goldman Sachs from 2005 to 2008.

Ashley Wayman completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Amherst College from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Phillips Academy from 1996 to 2000 where they graduated Cum Laude and excelled as an All-American Soccer and Lacrosse Player. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Harvard Business School from 2008 to 2010.
