Malte Kraus began their career in 2009 as a Working Student at DATEV eG, where they worked until 2015. During this time, they also completed an apprenticeship as a Computer Science Expert/Software Development. In 2014, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
In 2015, Malte joined Siemens Healthineers as a Working Student and stayed until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
In 2018, Malte began working at SUSE as a Security Engineer. Their responsibilities included manual and automated code analysis, coordinating vulnerability disclosure, advising stakeholders on security matters, and SCAP automation. Malte was also involved in incident response. Malte held this role until November 2020.
Since December 2020, Malte Kraus has been working as a Security Researcher at ShiftLeft, Inc.
Malte Kraus pursued their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. Malte enrolled in the program in 2010 and successfully completed it in 2018.
