Oleksii Prohonnyi is a Senior Frontend Engineer at Wasabi Technologies since June 2022, focusing on redesigning and refactoring legacy projects while collaborating with Customer Support to resolve production issues. Prior to this, Oleksii served as a UI Engineer at Qwiet AI, where a website functionality redesign and development of a premium VS Code extension were led. As a Senior Software Engineer at EPAM Systems, Oleksii pioneered architectural approaches that became templates for numerous projects and managed UI team planning and risk mitigation. Earlier experience includes positions as a Software Engineer at Sigma Software Group, where architectural decisions were spearheaded, and as a Software Developer at Freelance.com, during which 14 high-performance websites were developed. Oleksii holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, attained in June 2014.
