Tima Bansal is a Professor at Ivey Business School at Western University since May 1999 and the Founder & Lab Leader of Innovation North, powered by Ivey, since October 2019. As the Board Chair for Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) and Chair of the Impact Committee at Shift4Good, Tima Bansal actively promotes sustainable business practices. In addition to serving as a Forbes Columnist since April 2021, Tima Bansal founded the Network for Business Sustainability in 2007 and was a Board Member of the Academy of Management from August 2020 to July 2023. Tima Bansal previously chaired the Expert Panel for the Circular Economy at the Council of Canadian Academies from May 2020 to October 2021. Additionally, Tima Bansal served as Deputy Editor for the Academy of Management Journal from 2016 to 2019. Educational credentials include an MPhil and DPhil in Management Studies from the University of Oxford, a Master of Arts in Economics from Western University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics from the University of Calgary.
