Ahmed Morsy has a diverse range of work experience in the field of engineering and automotive. Ahmed most recently worked at Shift EV as a Senior Design for Manufacturing Engineer, responsible for designing and manufacturing processes. Before that, they worked as a Design for Manufacturing Engineer at the same company. Prior to Shift EV, Ahmed worked at El-Huda For Engineering Consultants as a Welding and Inspection Engineer. Ahmed also gained experience as a Design and Manufacturing Engineer at Solectra Electric Automotive Company LLC, where they were involved in designing and manufacturing small electric vehicles. Additionally, Ahmed served as the Team Manager for the Solar Electric Vehicle- Cairo University Racing Team (SEV-CUT), where they managed various aspects of the team's work and successfully raised funds for the project. Ahmed also held the role of Vice Of Mechanical Section at SEV-CUT. Ahmed has been actively involved in the automotive industry, serving as the Head of Automotive branch and Transmission and drive train moderator at K Vector Foundation. Ahmed has also worked as an Automotive Instructor at Y Circles, Resala Charity Organization, and ASC (Azhar Science Club), where they taught transmission and drive train systems.
Ahmed Morsy began their education at Ahmed Zeweil Language School, where they completed their high school education and received a High School/Secondary Diploma and Certificate. From 2013 to 2018, they attended Engineering/Cairo University, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2020, they enrolled in the El Tebbin Institute for Metallurgical Studies and obtained a Technical Diploma in Welding Engineering. From 2020 to 2022, Ahmed pursued further education at the same institute and completed their Master of Mechanical Engineering degree with a specialization in Welding Engineering and Material Science.
