Alex Hoomis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Sales Executive at WB Mason Company, where they excelled in acquiring new clients, winning sales training competitions, and managing high-profile accounts.
Alex then joined IBM in 2014 and held multiple digital sales roles. As a Digital Sales Manager for Watson Analytics and Watson Analytics for Social Media from 2016 to 2018, Alex led a team that focused on partnering with organizations to empower them with insights beyond report consumption. Alex also served as the Digital Sales Manager for Watson Data Platform - North America in 2017, where they led a team supporting the platform, helping clients derive value from data.
Since 2017, Alex has been with Shields Health Solutions, initially serving as a Business Development Leader. In this role, they led a team that identified and educated eligible partners to help them build and grow programs, resulting in significant network growth. Alex then transitioned to the role of Patient Outreach & Enrollment Leader in 2020 and further to the Director of Patient Outreach in 2022.
Alex Hoomis completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Sociology from UMass Boston between 2006 and 2010. In 2016, Alex obtained a certification in IBM Analytics Platform Foundations from IBM.
