Vibhav Ganesh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in robotics and software engineering. Currently serving as Chief Of Staff to the CTO at Shield AI since July 2017, Vibhav facilitates cross-functional initiatives to enhance engineering capacity and velocity. Previous roles at Shield AI include Team Lead for state estimation, where Vibhav managed a team dedicated to the state estimation of all platforms, and Senior Autonomy Engineer, focusing on reliable sensor fusion and perception tasks. Vibhav's background includes a graduate research position at Carnegie Mellon University, where work centered on distributed mapping for multi-robot systems, along with a teaching assistant role that involved creating course content and leading recitations. Vibhav gained internship experience at Facebook, TripAdvisor, and prior firms, contributing to various software projects and automation efforts. Vibhav holds a Master's in Robotics focused on SLAM and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, along with a high school diploma earned Summa Cum Laude.
