Russell Gayle is a Senior Staff Engineer at Shield AI since March 2024, bringing extensive experience in advanced engineering roles. Prior to this position, Russell served as a Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories from July 2011 to March 2024, contributing to the Interactive Systems, Simulations, and Analysis group. Russell's career includes a Software Engineer role at Google, a Developer position at Optiver, and a Research Assistantship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where involvement included the UNC-CS GAMMA Group and projects in high-performance graphics.
