Ian K. has extensive experience in security management, currently serving as Head of Security at SaxaVord Spaceport UK since September 2022. Prior to this role, Ian K. held positions including Group Security Manager at First Quantum Minerals from August 2018 to September 2022, and Group Head of Operational Security and Intelligence at Prudential plc for a brief period in 2018. Ian K. was the Managing Director at 4Sight International from April 2014 to January 2018 and General Manager at Newport Africa Offshore from February 2012 to January 2013, where Ian K. established and managed an offshore maritime security company. Earlier roles include Regional Security Manager and Anti Illicit Trade Manager at British American Tobacco (2003-2011), Consultant at Control Risks (1998-2003), and Officer in the British Army (1986-1997).
