Nimat Maloney, EIT, is a Design Engineer III at Sherwood Design Engineers, where employment has spanned from June 2020 to the present, progressing through roles as Design Engineer I and II. Nimat has held significant leadership positions in Engineers Without Borders, serving as Vice President for the New York City chapter and as the Northeast Regional Steering Committee representative. Previously, Nimat gained internship experience at Stantec and Savin Engineers, focusing on transportation projects and wastewater treatment facilities, respectively. Nimat holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Columbia University, along with experience as a Resident Advisor and Research Assistant during academic tenure.
