Ellen Obenshain is a Design Engineer 1 at Sherwood Design Engineers, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Ellen worked at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection from February 2015 to July 2020, serving as both Project Manager and Project Controls Specialist, where responsibilities included counseling project managers on project schedules and budgets. Ellen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (2009 - 2014) and furthered education through Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals (2014 - 2015).
