Gerrit Rigter is an experienced coach, loopbaancoach, and trainer at Sherpa since June 2006, specializing in guiding individuals and groups in rediscovering their career motivations and aspirations. In this role, Gerrit facilitates group training sessions focused on self-discovery and career development, as well as provides individual coaching for career transitions and reintegration. Since October 2001, Gerrit has also served as a coach and team coach within Sherpa gehandicaptenzorg, supporting over 120 teams and numerous individual employees in enhancing collaboration and effectiveness. Additionally, Gerrit held the positions of chairman of the works council and facilitator for individuals with mild intellectual disabilities at Sherpa from August 1983 to March 2004. Gerrit’s educational background includes a degree in Professional Coaching from the School voor Coaching and training in leadership within disability care from Hogeschool van Utrecht.
