Tyson Parks has extensive experience in law enforcement and public safety, currently serving as a Police Officer at Sherman Independent School District since May 2022. Prior to this role, Tyson was employed as a Safety & Security Specialist at Allen ISD from October 2017 to May 2022 and retired as a Police Officer from the City of Allen, where a diverse career included 3 years in Patrol Services, 2 years in the Narcotics Division of Criminal Investigations, and 11 years as a School Resource Officer. Tyson began a career in law enforcement as a Police Officer in the City of Denison from August 1996 to November 2001, focusing on Patrol Services. Tyson's professional background also includes a period as a Customer Service Representative at Cigna from January 1991 to August 1996. Education includes attendance at Grayson College from 1990 to 1992 and graduation from Denison High School in 1990.
