Ian Lane is a Partner at Sherin and Lodgen LLP since August 2017, with considerable experience in commercial real estate and finance. Previously, Ian served as Counsel in the Finance and Real Estate department at Seyfarth Shaw from November 2012 to July 2017 and as a Finance and Real Estate Associate at Dechert LLP from January 2003 to October 2012, where representation of lenders in commercial mortgage origination and securitization transactions was emphasized. Additionally, at Paul Hastings from January 2007 to January 2011, Ian focused on complex cross-border financing transactions and advising international clients on restructuring distressed assets. Ian holds a JD from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law and a BS in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo.
