Brian Canright has extensive work experience in the education and social service sectors. Brian began their career at Milwaukee Rescue Mission in 2003, where they worked as a Youth Program Coordinator until 2007. In 2009, they joined Shepherds College as a Res Life Manager and held this position until 2012. Brian then took on roles of increasing responsibility at Shepherds College, including Lead Recruiter/Transition Coordinator from 2013 to 2016, Director of Student Recruitment & Placement from 2016 to present, and Vice President of Expansion from 2018 to present. Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated a commitment to supporting and empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Brian Canright began their education at New Tribes Bible Institute, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from 2003 to 2006. Brian then attended Waukesha County Technical College from 2008 to 2012, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Criminal Justice. In 2014, Canright enrolled in Regent University and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Finally, in 2016 to 2017, they pursued a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership and Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership at Concordia University-Wisconsin.
