Jill Newsome has over 18 years of experience in clinical nutrition, currently serving as Clinical Nutrition Manager at Shepherd Center since June 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of dietitians and developing nutrition care plans for patients with spinal cord and brain injuries. Prior to this role, Jill worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Piedmont Healthcare, focusing on care for transplant patients, and at Emory Healthcare, managing nutrition for various hospital specialties, including transplant and surgical oncology. Jill began their career with a dietetic internship at Bay Pines VA Hospital after earning a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Purdue University.
