Mikel Peterson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Central Missouri, completed in May 2001. Mikel began a professional career at DST Systems, where Mikel progressed from a Software Developer Intern to Staff Software Developer, ultimately serving as Software Project Lead from December 2000 to March 2006. Since March 2006, Mikel has been with Shelter Insurance Companies, advancing through roles including Information Services Analyst, Senior Application Engineer, and currently, Software Engineering Manager.
