Ronald Stoppelenburg has extensive expertise in data architecture and IT management, currently serving as Lead Data Architect at Shell since November 2012, with roles spanning Asset & Technology, Asset & Safety, and Upstream sectors. Prior to Shell, Ronald held senior consulting positions at Business & Decision and served as Senior Director - Enterprise Information Architect at Philips, where responsibilities included creating the Philips Information Architecture. Additionally, Ronald has a significant history with Unilever in various roles, including Director IT Architecture and Senior Regional Information Architect, focusing on global and European information systems architectures. Early career experiences include positions at Lever Faberge Netherlands and Elida Andrelon, where IT management was a key focus. Ronald holds a degree in law from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, complemented by additional training in information technology.
