Jarred Nix is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Sr. Operations Engineer at Shell since December 2022, Nix previously held the position of Facilities Engineer at Pieridae Energy Limited from October 2019 to December 2022. Nix’s tenure at Shell began in July 2013, encompassing various roles including Operations Engineer, Turnaround Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Surface Surveillance Engineer, and Field Engineer. Nix’s early career includes an internship as an Operations Intern at Shell Oil Company in 2012, focusing on mechanical aspects within a sour gas plant. Nix completed a degree at the University of Waterloo from 2008 to 2013.
