Ian Wood has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently retired, Ian Wood served as Metering & Hydrocarbon Accounting Lead and previously held the position of Head Metering Maintenance & Calibration at Shell from February 2020. Prior roles include Senior PACO Maintenance Engineer at Basrah Gas Company and Maintenance Engineer at LNG Canada, where Ian Wood contributed to MRTA requirements for the project. Additionally, Ian Wood has held leadership positions such as Head of Maintenance & Integrity at Shell Gabon and Electrical & Metering Maintenance Discipline Engineering Lead at Sarawak Shell Berhad. Ian Wood’s career began at British Gas Plc as an Assistant Instrument Engineer, advancing through various roles including Lead Metering Engineer at Halliburton Brown & Root and Principal Allocation Engineer at NAM. Ian Wood holds a degree from Manchester, completed in 1988.
