Ekene Onuora is an experienced data engineering professional currently serving as CC Lead - AI Platform and Principal Data Engineer at Shell since September 2022. Prior to this role, Ekene held various positions at LeasePlan from October 2018 to September 2022, including Head of Data Engineering and Senior Data Engineer, where significant contributions were made to the NextGen LeasePlan data platform and the development of a unified Data Lake. Ekene also worked at Travix International as a Senior Data Engineer from August 2015 to October 2018, leading a team in the redesign of a data warehouse. Earlier experience includes roles at CGI Nederland as a BI & Database Developer and at Miles Research as a BI /.Net Developer, focusing on database design and development. Ekene holds a BSc in Information Technology from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
