Amy Challen is a highly experienced professional in the fields of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, currently serving as General Manager of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics Lead at Shell since May 2019. Amy specializes in bridging data science with business opportunities, focusing on AI-enabled tools and services for the Global Commercial sector at Shell. Prior to this role, Amy worked as a Data and AI consultant from October 2018 to May 2019, assisting businesses in enhancing their analytics strategies and driving value. Serving as a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from 2013 to 2018, Amy led complex analytics projects and demonstrated exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. Earlier academic roles included positions as a Research Economist at the Centre for Economic Performance, where Amy conducted applied econometrics research, and as a Researcher at OECD, analyzing higher education systems.
