Barb Roscoe is an experienced educator and conservationist with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of New England. Currently serving as a Farm Yard Educator at Shelburne Farms since April 2015, Barb has been instrumental in promoting sustainable living and farming practices. Additionally, as the Village Kids Hiawatha Kindergarten Director at Essex Junction Recreation and Parks, Barb engages Kindergarteners in educational activities that foster their growth across various domains. With a strong background in wildlife education as a Camp Counselor for Outreach for Earth Stewardship and experience in nature-based environments with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, Barb emphasizes ecological responsibility and conservation. Earlier roles include serving as a Biology Lab Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of New England, where proficiency in lab and field research techniques was developed, as well as a Recreational Assistant at Mary Johnson's Children Center, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
