Simon Karanja is an experienced design professional with a solid background in mechanical engineering and design software. Currently employed as Design Incharge at Sheffield Steel Systems Ltd since July 2014, Simon oversees design processes. Prior to this role, Simon worked as a Mechanical Eng Draughtsman at UNIGHIR LTD from July 2011 to July 2014, focusing on layouts, bill of quantities, and 3D designs. Simon started the career as a Mechanical Technician at Iber Africa in 2009. Educational qualifications include A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Migadde College, along with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Production) from The Kenya Polytechnic University College. Additionally, Simon possesses extensive knowledge of engineering design application software including Solidworks, Inventor, Catia, 3ds Max, CAD, and Revit.
