Erick Alpizar has a diverse range of work experience in the landscaping and environmental design industry. Erick started their career at The Brickman Group LLC in 1983 and held various leadership roles for over 30 years. In 2016, they became the Director of Operations at J Sharps Landscaping Inc. The following year, they joined Elements Lawn Care as the Sales and Marketing Manager. In 2018, they worked as the Northeast Territory Manager for Holganix. From 2013 to 2020, they owned and served as the President of Green Life Environments LLC, a consulting services company. Currently, they are the Vice President at Shearon Environmental Design.

Erick Alpizar completed their education at the Agricultural Technical Institute in Costa Rica from 1971 to 1979. Erick obtained a degree in Agricultural Science Technician, specializing in Agriculture, Forestry, and Landscaping. In addition to their formal education, Erick Alpizar has also attained certifications in the field. Erick is a certified New Jersey Commercial Pesticide Applicator through the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. Additionally, they hold a certification in Organic Land Care Management from NOFA/Mass (Northeast Organic Farming Association). The specific dates of obtaining the certifications are not provided.
