Kirsten Suto Seckler has extensive experience in leadership roles and marketing and communications. Kirsten is currently working as the Chief Member at Chief starting from 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Shatterproof from 2019 onward, where they led a team and developed strategies to address addiction and end stigma. Kirsten also served as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Special Olympics District of Columbia from 2019. Kirsten has been associated with the Special Olympics organization for a significant part of their career, holding roles such as Chief Brand Officer and Chief Marketing Officer where they led global growth and brand positioning efforts. Kirsten also worked at Georgetown University as an Adjunct Professor since 2013. Before that, they worked at Kraft Foods Group as a Marketing Manager, managing promotional tours and brand integration for the Oscar Mayer brand.
Kirsten Suto Seckler attended the University of Delaware from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies and Theater. Kirsten also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies during the same period. In 2016, they enrolled in Georgetown University and completed a Certificate in Nonprofit Executive Management.
