Ian Barnard is a seasoned marketing and management professional with extensive experience in the technology and imaging sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe GmbH since October 2021, Ian holds a key position within the EMEA management team. Previously, Ian directed the Sharp Visual Solutions business across Europe and led sales for Canon's consumer and professional imaging products in the UK and Ireland. Ian's career includes notable roles at Sony Europe, where significant expertise was gained in commercial leadership and marketing, ultimately contributing to successful pan-European ventures. Additional entrepreneurial experience was gained through the founding and management of IB Associates, a strategic consultancy focused on enhancing business performance. Ian's educational background includes a Business Degree (Hons) in Sales & Marketing from Sheffield Hallam University and further studies at the University of Bristol.
