Hugh Hammond has held various roles in the energy and environmental sectors since 2011. In 2011, they were an Associate Environmental Consultant for Inovenergy Limited, where they were a primary researcher and contributor to the report: ā€œSustainable Ventures Insights: RHI Investor Opportunities Reportā€ and initiated and implemented an online management tool for the business. In 2012, they were a Domestic Energy Assessor for Sustainable Ventures, where they were responsible for the production of ā€˜Energy Savings Reportsā€™ and achieved the production of fifty such reports. Since 2013, they have been with SHAREIGHT, where they have held the roles of Business Development Manager, Partnerships Manager and Operations Manager.

Hugh Hammond's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Politics from the University of Bristol (2006-2009), an MSc in Managing the Environment from Aberystwyth University (2010-2011), and an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (2021-2025). Hugh also attended Bilborough College.
